To help support the Black community and businesses, Meta is providing free training and resources that can help business owners build the digital skills they need to succeed.
Meta is awarding 100,000 scholarships to Black students working toward digital skills certifications through our Meta Blueprint program. These scholarships will allow recipients to take the Facebook Digital Marketing Associate Exam at no cost. Meta has online courses, study guides, and practice test to help you prepare for your exam.
Eligible scholarships include the Meta Digital Marketing Associate Exam, Meta Coursera Software Engineering Certificate, and Meta Certified Community Manager Exams.
To receive this particular scholarship, applicants must identify as Black, reside in the United States and also score over 80% on the practice test. Practice tests consist of 30 multiple-choice questions to be completed at the learner’s own pace. There is no time limit for practice tests; on average, exam takers complete the practice test in 40 minutes. Once a score of 80% or higher has been achieved, learners will be sent a scholarship. Eligible recipients will have 90 days to complete and pass the practice test, which they can re-take multiple times within the same timeframe.

There are no Facebook certifications that qualify for college credit at this time.
Certifications for Software Engineering, Community Manager and Digital Marketing Associate are valid for 24 months from the date you pass the exam and become certified. Candidates can re-certify as early as six (6) months prior to their exam expiration date, with the associated cost of the exam.
